Funding Connection was established in May 2015 with the purpose of showing schools, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations all over New Zealand how to compile a concise funding application for maximum impact!

With YOUR knowledge of your school/group, your purpose and need for funding and OUR knowledge of what funders need in an application, together we compile a concise funding application for maximum impact!

Funding Connection came about as a result of a need. While bringing up my son who is on the Autistic Spectrum, I learned that to meet students’ needs and requirements, schools needed funding, further to what they received from the Ministry of Education.

Research to source funding to support my son’s learning needs was invaluable. Further research to support other children with specific needs identified more funding opportunities. While this funding was for special equipment at home, and learning outside the classroom, the needs were the same; to meet the well being, learning, inclusive, and educational needs of our children.

I was empowered to make a difference in schools to ensure they were accessing all the funding providers they were eligible to apply to; not just the ones they apply to year after year.
